1,2-Bis(tetrabromophthalimido)ethane. It acts as a brominated flame retardant with an outstanding UV and thermal stability that allows its use in engineering resins like polyesters and polyamides. It is non blooming and its white color allows use in color-sensitive applications. Its excellent wet electrical properties also make it ideal for wire and cable applications providing premium performance in a wide range of applications.
