DYBP by United Initiators is 2,5-dimethyl-2,5-di(tert.butylperoxy)hexine-3. It acts as an initiator (radical source)above 180°C and peroxide cross linking agent for polyethylene (HDPE, LLDPE and LDPE with carbon black). It is thermally stable and results in odor free decomposition products with no blooming on the vulcanizate surface. DYBP appears as a yellowish, mobile liquid with 286.4 g/mol of molar mass. It is very efficient with low volatility.
