Di-(2-ethylhexyl)-peroxydicarbonate. It acts as an initiator for the polymerization of monomers polyvinylchloride and ethylene in combination with thermally more stable peroxides order to achieve constant rate of polymerization. It has an advantage of being liquid therefore, it is easy to dose and show high activity. It appears as a colorless mobile liquid which is de-sensitized with aliphatic hydrocarbons having 346.5 g/mol of molar mass.
