TBPA-50-AL1 by United Initiators is tert.butylperoxyacetate. It acts as an initiator (radical source) in the polymerization of monomers, e.g. ethylene, styrene in bulk or suspension in combination with other stable peroxides and active per-esters. It is highly efficient and provides particular advantage of reducing the residual monomer content and benzene free replacement for tert.butyl-peroxybenzoate. TBPA-50-AL1 appears as a colorless mobile liquid having a molecular weight of 132.2 g/mol.
