TBPPI 75-AL1

Tert.butylperpivalate. It acts as an initiator (radical source) for the high pressure polymerization of monomers, e.g. ethylene, vinyl chloride, vinyl acetate in combination with thermally more stable peroxides which results in reduction of the residual monomer content and to achieve constant rate process. Also acts in other monomers like actyl nitrile, (meth-)acrylates and vinyl in bulk, suspension or solution. It appears as a colorless, mobile liquid which is, desensitized with aliphatic hydrocarbons having 174.2 g/mol of molar mass. It is readily miscible with high boiling aliphatics. It is highly efficient as well as shows high activity and is easy to dose.
