N,N’-Ethylene bis-12-hydroxystearamide. Acts as a plasticizer, processing aid, mold lubricant, release agent and thixatrope for rubber and plastics. It is a brittle, wax-like solid formed from the reaction of an amine with hydroxystearic acid. It is extremely resistant to acids and alkalies. Provides excellent slip, anti static, pigment wetting and lubrication properties. Has broad compatibility with natural/synthetic waxes, resins and polymers. Used in polyethylene, polystyrene, nylon, ABS, vinyl, styrene butadiene polymers and butyl rubbers.
