A food antifog masterbatch containing a special selection of additives, in a polypropylene carrier. Reduces the condensation of water drops on the surface of the film, thus preventing a decrease in the optical properties of the film. Especially recommended for co-extruded BOPP films which are subject to conditions likely to cause condensation of water drops. Should be added in both the core layer and the skin layer where the antifogging properties are required. Prevention of the formation of water drops leads to the elimination of a series of detrimental effects such as poor transparency and loss of visual attractiveness. Complies with the EU and FDA regulations for food packaging applications. Once bags are opened, the masterbatch should be used as soon as possible. An effective closing system should be employed for partially utilized bags in order to avoid contact with the air.
