Special inorganic bacteriostatic agent in polycarbonate. Acts as a biocide/antimicrobial agent. Prevents and stops the growth and propogation of microorganisms and keeps its efficacy even after numerous washes of the end-product. It is free from waxes and lubricants. Used as a bacteriostatic masterbatch for the protection of polycarbonate end-products during extrusion and injection molding. Approved for use in contact with foodstuff by FDA.
