HDK® N20P

Synthetic, hydrophobic amorphous silica, produced via flame hydrolysis. It acts as a thixotropic agent. Appears as a white colloidal powder of high purity. It is used as a reinforcing filler in elastomers, mainly silicone-elastomers. It is used in the production of tooth pastes and sulfuric acid gel batteries. Its good dispersion is a must to assure optimum performance. It has a shelf life of at least 24 months when stored in unbroken original packaging in dry storage areas.
