Precipitated silica. Acts as a thixotropic-, reinforcing- and thickening agent & filler. It is a white and colloidal micro-particle. Possesses insolubility in all kinds of solvents and liquids except hydrofluoric acid and concentrated bases. Offers compatibility with acrylic-, epoxy- and polyurethane resins. Applications include heat vulcanized (HTV) silicone rubbers and vulcanized elastomers.
