Norsocryl® AA by Arkema is acrylic acid. It possesses an ability to polymerize to form homopolymers and copolymerize with their esters and other vinyl monomers. It offers hydrosolubility and the carboxylic acid functionality provides anionic character and reactivity with alcohols and epoxides. It is used in elastomers, leather finishing, thickeners, surfactants, fibers, textiles, synthetic rubbers, lattices, plastics, synthetic resins, acrylic fibers and super-adsorbent polymers.
