Multranol® 8160

Multranol® 8160 by Covestro is polyether polyol, derived from soybean oil and glycerin (60% by weight renewable content). It provides excellent processing and is slightly hygroscopic. Multranol® 8160 is used to substitute for up to 50% of conventional polyester polyol in the production of poly-isocyanurate rigid foams with little to no adverse impact on properties.
