Priplast™ 3198 by Cargill is a low polarity dimer fatty acid-based polyester polyol. Provides very good resistance to hydrolytic attack by moisture, alkali, acid, radical-type attack via heat, oxygen, UV or chlorine. Offers adhesion to non-polar, low energy substrates such as polyolefins, very good flow properties, efficient substrate wetting, flexibility and good impact strength. Priplast™ 3198 is used in polyurethane resins and elastomer applications.
