Capa® 6500C

Premium grade high molecular weight linear polyester derived from caprolactone monomer. Exhibits outstanding flexibility even at low temperatures, low viscosity, gloss, hydrolytic stability, excellent strength, UV resistance and abrasion resistance. It shows consistent and adjustable reactivity and a lasting outdoor performance for polyurethane materials. It has low impurities and is non-toxic, biodegradable, easy to process with short cycle times, shape and apply. Provides strong adhesion on difficult and sensitive substrates and shows consistent crystallization. It is compatible with a wide range of common thermoplastics and is soluble in several common solvents. It has higher clarity in the melt phase (60°C) than standard Capa™ thermoplastics.
