NL1050B by Mitsubishi Chemical is a linear polycarbonate diol (with hydroxyl groups at both ends). It easily reacts with isocyanate compounds (such as MDI, TDI, IPDI, H12MDI) and generate polymers with superior characteristics. Exhibits higher chemical (oleic acid- & ethanol) resistance, abrasion resistance, hardness & non-crystallinity & handling, similar mechanical properties and lesser flexibility at low temperature than 16HD polycarbonate diol. Possesses weather resistance & hydrolysis resistance and offers durability. NL1050B is suitable for polyurethane, acrylic resin and polyester resin applications. Used in artificial leather (synthetic), waterborne urethane, thermoset & thermoplastic elastomers (TSU & TPU), urethane acrylated & diacrylated compounds & resins and polyester elastomers (TPEE).
