Succinic acid (1, 4-butanedioic acid). It is a four-carbon dicarboxylic acid with a chemical structure similar to maleic anhydride (MAN). More environment friendly than its petroleum-derived counterparts. Reduces environmental and carbon footprint. Made from renewable and sustainable resources. Produced naturally as a product of cellular metabolism through a proprietary technology platform designed to produce high-value biochemical with high yield and performance. Directly substituted or “dropped in” to a broad range of chemical production processes, making every day consumer applications greener and more eco-friendly. Used in plasticizers, polymers, esters and polyester polyols.
