PETOL® 28-3B

Glycerol propoxylated-co-ethoxylated. It is a tri-functional highly reactive polyether polyol with a 6000 nominal molecular weight. PETOL® 28-3B is produced from the addition of propylene oxide and ethylene oxide to glycerin under base catalysis. Due to the high content of EO, it is opalescent at temperature below 300°C. It is designed for obtaining high resilience flexible polyurethane foams in cold molding process. Also used for the production of high resilience slabstock flexible polyurethane foams when blended with reactive polymer polyol and in polyol blends for obtaining semi-flexible foams or micro cellular elastomers.
