Linear polyester diol derived from caprolactone monomer (terminated by primary hydroxyl groups). Exhibits outstanding flexibility even at low temperatures, low viscosity, gloss, hydrolytic stability, excellent strength, UV resistance and abrasion resistance. It shows a lasting outdoor performance for polyurethane materials. It has low impurities and is non-toxic, biodegradable, easy to process, shape and apply. Provides strong adhesion on difficult and sensitive substrates and shows consistent crystallization. It possesses excellent mechanical properties even at low density, toughness, excellent physical properties, improved service life in humidity and reduced density compared to adipates. The product has been specially developed as an intermediate for the production of high grade polyurethane elastomers and flexible foam applications. Applications include automotive components and shoe soles.
