Glucarate

Glucarate salt. It is an important renewable, biodegradable and one of the top twelve building block chemicals that can be subsequently converted to a number of high-value materials. Produced from D-glucose whose current principal source is corn starch but it can also be produced from wood and biomass resources. Works better than gluconates. Can be formulated to create dust suppressants, composite materials, heavy metal sequestering agents, flame and fire retardants, films and other products that are important to society.
