SE 1605 by Soltech is a partially acrylated ester of a bisphenol A type epoxy resin. It is characterized by good cure response, good solvent resistance and high gloss. It contains both acrylate and epoxy functionalities. It may be cured by exposure to either ultraviolet light (UV) or electron beam (EB) in conjunction with conventional epoxy curing. SE 1605 may also be cured with UV radiation using a mixed photo initiator system consisting of free radical and cationic photo initiators.
