DAXSOL® Glycerol carbonate

DAXSOL® Glycerol carbonate by UBE is a hydroxyl-functional carbonate. It can be used as an active solvent, diluent, plasticizer and compatibilizer for different solvent systems in various applications, including electrolytes. It can also work as a blocking agent for isocyanates used in water-borne polyurethane dispersions.
  • It can react with amines to make urethane bonding.
  • Due to its dual functionality, it can also be used as synthetic intermediate for chain extensions and cross-linkage.
  • DAXSOL® Glycerol carbonate is USDA certificated bio-based grade.
