PLASBLAK® PE2640

Carbon black pigment masterbatch with PE as carrier polymer. It is compatible with LDPE, LLDPE, HDPE, PP and ethylene copolymers. It has been designed to offer high standards of performance compared to traditional agricultural film masterbatches. It offers improved levels of opacifying power, weathering performance, film surface quality, tint strength and gloss effect. It is designed for ease of dilution and homogeneous mixing and is therefore suitable for direct addition using automatic dosing units or by pre-blending. Its applications include premium and specialist mulch films and high quality silage film. Also used for plastics that come into contact with food. The amount of masterbatch added depends on the performance requirements of the final application. Its typical addition rates vary from 4% to 6% masterbatch in silage films and up to 10% in mulch film.
