PLASBLAK® PE2727

PLASBLAK® PE2727 by Cabot is a 40% carbon black pigment in polyethylene carrier resin. Exhibits optimum carbon black dispersion characteristics together with good dilutability and offers maximum protection against UV light degradation (addition rate is 6.25%) & high opacity. Shows compatibility with LDPE, LLDPE, HDPE, PP and ethylene copolymers. Suited for use in film, extrusion and moulding applications. It is particularly suitable for coextruded and thin films. This product is suitable for use in a wide range of plastics that come into contact with food. Recommended for use in construction pipes, tape, netting and geogrid applications. It is designed for ease of dilution and homogeneous mixing and is therefore suitable for direct addition using automatic dosing units or by pre-blending. Typical addition rates of PLASBLAK® PE2727 by Cabot vary from 4%-10% (1-3% in injection molding).
