PLASBLAK® PE4441

P-type carbon black antioxidant additive combination masterbatch with LDPE as carrier polymer. It is compatible with LDPE, LLDPE, HDPE and PP. It is a specially formulated black masterbatch containing a small particle size weathering grade of carbon black together with a highly effective stabilisation package. It provides maximum protection against UV light, process and long term degradation. It is designed for ease of dilution and homogeneous mixing and is therefore suitable for direct addition using automatic dosing units or by pre-blending. Used in staple fibres, tapes, netting and high quality film applications. Can also be used in a wide range of plastics that come into contact with food. The amount of masterbatch added depends on the performance requirements of the final application. Its typical addition rates vary from 3% to 7%. The recommended addition rate for maximum UV light protection is 7%.
