PLASBLAK® PS6310

PLASBLAK® PS6310 by Cabot is a polystyrene (PS) carrier based black masterbatch containing carbon black. Exhibits low surface activity to reduce interference with other additives to deliver more optimal performance. It enhances thermal insulation performance by up to 20% and reduces thermal conductivity by absorbing infrared (IR) radiation. Designed for ease of dilution and homogeneous mixing and is therefore suitable for direct addition using automatic dosing units or by pre-blending. This product is not suitable for use in products that come into contact with food. Used in expandable polystyrene (EPS) foams. Typical addition rate of PLASBLAK® PP6348 by Cabot vary from 12.5% to 15%.
