Plasticolors® GTS-80865

Plasticolors® GTS-80865 by Chromaflo Technologies is a low viscosity yellow color bismuth vanadium pigment dispersion. It is designed for both volumetric and gravimetric dispensing. It allows for in-plant tinting operations. It is exceptionally easy to handle and reduces waste left over in containers. Plasticolors® GTS-80865 contains no solvents or reactive monomers. It is heavy metal-free and produces high tint strength. It is dispersed in a low molecular weight unsaturated polyester resin. The unsaturation allows for cross-linking through double bonds as occurs in peroxide-cured polyesters or vinyl esters in the presence of a reactive monomer, such as styrene. When cross-linked or covalently reacted the GTS carrier resin is fully converted to a portion of the matrix solids. It is also compatible with acrylate monomers. It is best suited for the SMC, BMC, TMC, pultrusion, polyester cast and polymer concrete processes. It can also be used in panel and cast polymer. It has shelf life of 24 months.
