LUXAN D502 by Eckart is a non-leafing, free-flowing powder with a bronze reflection color. It comprises platelets of glass flakes coated with iron oxide. It creates greater optical transparency than is possible with conventional pearlescent pigments. It shows chemical resistance, color intensity owing to homogeneous surfaces and intensive glitter effect. It is used in plastics. LUXAN D502 has a shelf life of 120 months.
