LUXAN E241 by Eckart is a non-leafing, free-flowing pearlescent pigment with interference red reflection color. It is based on platelets of glass flakes coated with titanium dioxide and small amounts of tin oxide. It creates greater optical transparency than is possible with conventional pearlescent pigments. It provides chemical resistance, color intensity owing to homogeneous surfaces and intensive glitter effect. It is suitable for plastics. LUXAN E241 has a shelf life of 120 months.
