LUXAN E261 by Eckart is a non-leafing, free-flowing pearlescent pigment with interference satin blue reflection color. It is based on glass flakes coated with titanium dioxide and a small amount of tin oxide. It creates greater optical transparency than is possible with conventional pearlescent pigments. It offers chemical resistance, color intensity owing to homogeneous surfaces and intensive glitter effect. It is used in plastics. LUXAN E261 has a shelf life of 120 months.
