LUXAN K241 by Eckart is a free-flowing pearlescent pigment with luster effect interference red. It comprises of platelets of glass flakes. It creates greater optical transparency than is possible with conventional pearlescent pigments. It offers color intensity owing to homogeneous surfaces and intensive glitter effect. It finds application in plastics and food packaging. LUXAN K241 has a shelf life of 120 months.
