Anthraquinone. It is an organic solvent pigment. This oil pigment has good miscibility to various plastic materials such as polyolefin, polystyrene, ABS and PVC. Offers greater color strength and better fastness to heat, light, acid as well as alkali. It is suitable for dyeing chemicals fiber, such as dacron, nylon and cellulose acetate fiber. It can be used alone as well as mixed in proportion in high impact polystyrene, polycarbonate, cellulose propylene (CA), polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA), styrene-acrylonitrile copolymer (SAN), styrene-butadiene copolymer (SB), un-plasticized polyvinyl chloride (UPVC), acrylonitrile-styrene copolymer (AS), acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene copolymer (ABS) and styrene methyl acrylic acid copolymer. Also used in coloring domestic plastic materials and master batches dyeing. Its usage level for transparency color is around 0.02%-0.05% and for un-transparency color is around 0.1%.
