Natural Red 116

Natural iron oxide, inorganic red pigment made from naturally occurring deposits. Meets ASTM C979-82 standards for pigments used in cement. Exhibits color stability in processing temperatures up to 1000°C (1832°F). Not recommended for use in packaging or articles that come in contact with food (21CFR), nor for the direct coloration of food or cosmetics. Offers reliability and consistent quality, stability under exposure to sunlight and UV radiation, and alkali, chemical and weather resistancy. Used for rubber applications.
