Orient Black P1201

Orient Black P1201 by Phillips Carbon Black is a carbon black. It has better jetness and lower grit content than N220 which are essential for plastic masterbatches (recommended dosage is upto 40%). It is a cost efficient black for coloration and covering power in a variety of mature plastic applications, such as thinner multilayer films, engineering plastics, pipes & drip laterals. It has got very low filterability index (Delta P) required for these applications. Offers good UV absorption, good color strength and good covering power. Commonly used where good weathering resistance and opacity is required. Orient Black P1201 is suitable for coarse staple fibre (recommended dosage is upto 30-35%).
