Orient Black PC 501 by Phillips Carbon Black is a carbon black. Provides good surface smoothness and strippability in the in the semi-conductive compound. Contains very low sulfur content so that it does not react with polymers in the presence of electrical stresses thereby increasing cable life. Use in semi-conductive compound for medium voltage power transmission cable applications. Orient Black PC 501 has recommended dosage level upto 40%.
