Pigment Red 48:1 by Prasad International is 2-Naphthalenecarboxylic acid, 4-[(5-chloro - 4- methyl -2-sulfophenyl)azo] - 3-hydroxy-, barium salt (1:1). Bright yellowish red colored, odorless, organic pigment. Shows insolubility in water. Pigment Red 48:1 is non-flammable and non-explosive. Used for polymer applications like plasticized & rigid PVC, LDPE, rubber.
