PREBLACK PE 704-40

Special carbon black (p-type) PE based black masterbatch with PE-LD as carrier polymer. It has been developed for the coloring of PE-LD, PE-LLD and PE-HD films when maximum UV-resistance and pureness is required. Its moisture absorption is extremely low as well as the sulphur content in the carbon black is very low, too, preventing odor problems. PREBLACK PE 704-40 does not contain silica, calcium carbonate or any other fillers. It is approved for use in contact with foodstuffs according to BgVV regulations, as long as the content of carbon black in the produced product is less than 2, 5%. Its dosage rate is 0.5 - 10 % depending on desired blackness and UV-protection.
