Arctic® Black 10G903

Arctic® Black 10G903 by Shepherd is a chromium iron oxide pigment produced by high temperature calcination for use in plastics. This pigment is IR reflective, has good UV- & visible- opacity and high infrared reflection. It is non-bleeding and non-migratory. It has low heat build-up and has exceptional durability and hiding power and is generally used in applications where resistance to heat, light and weather are needed. It is chemically inert, heat resistant and stable to ultraviolet light. It shows compatibility with most resin systems and polymers, and is non-warping. Arctic® Black 10G903 is recommended for applications where equivalent pigment chemistry is used. It is a balance between Arctic® Black 10G996 and Arctic® Black 10P950 pigments in both masstone color and tinting strength, with slightly lower IR reflectance.
