Arctic® Black 10G996 by Shepherd is an IR reflective jet black pigment for plastics applications. It is highly resistant to acid, base, UV and chemical attack. It possesses low soluble iron for stability in PVC based materials. It is optimized for a deep masstone, good tint strength, high TSR (total solar reflectance) and low HBU (heat build-up) to meet performance and regulatory requirements.
  • It is compatible with a wide range of plastics and polymers.
  • Arctic® Black 10G996 is used in high-performance IR-reflective building products, roofing granules & tiles, polymeric roofing, window & door profiles, laminates & films, WPC decking & profiles, seating and ergonomic cooler touch materials.
