Arctic® Blue 424

Arctic® Blue 424 by Shepherd is a chromium-free, turquoise blue powder produced by high temperature calcination. It possesses good UV- & visible opacity as well as exceptional durability & hiding power. It is non-bleeding, non-migratory and non-warping in polyolefins. It offers high temperature stability, and is generally used in applications requiring heat-, light- and weather resistance.
  • It is chemically inert, UV stable, and resistant to acids, bases, heat and solvents.
  • It is compatible with most resin systems and polymers.
  • Arctic® Blue 424 is suitable for food containers, engineering polymers and plastics.
  • It is FDA compliant for coloring articles used for producing, packaging and transporting food.
