FERROXIDE® Red 224M

FERROXIDE® Red 224M by Venator Materials is dark, blue-shade precipitated red iron oxide pigment, micronized for good rheology at high solids and easy dispersion in a variety of systems. Meets ASTM C979-82 standards for color pigments used in cement. Exhibits color-stability below 400°C (750°F) and does not undergo any chemical change up to 1000°C (1832°F). Suitable for articles that contact food (21CFR), but not suitable for direct coloration of food or cosmetics, owing to its sufficient purity. Offers reliability and consistent quality, stability under exposure to sunlight and UV radiation, and alkali, chemical and weather resistancy. FERROXIDE® Red 224M is used for plastics and rubber applications.
