VIBATAN® MB Bio Black 99909

Black colored pigment, a composition at high concentration of carbon black (30%) in a biodegradable polymer carrier, compostable, from renewable resources. Expressly developed for the coloring of compostable bio-polymers, from renewable resources. Used specifically for the production of bio-films intended for agricultural applications (mulching films), but it is suitable for other application as well, such as packaging applications (shoppers), sheet extrusion for thermoforming or injection moulding. Is easily transformed through conventional production processes using standard equipments. Selected pigments and the special carrier makes it suitable for the production of end-products which have to satisfy the parameters imposed by the norm UNI EN 13432 “Packaging - Requirements for packaging recoverable through composting and biodegradation”, if used at a maximum dosage of 14.0%. To avoid possible thermal degradation of the polymer, it has to be processed at low temperatures (< 170 °C).
