Polymers additives supplied by Arxada

Vanquish™ Antimicrobial additives, effective for control of fungi and bacteria, are based on the active ingredient N-butyl-1,2-benzisothiazolin-3-one. They provide superior protection against microbial degradation in the polymer matrix under high UV exposure.

Lonza has designed Vanquish™ Antimicrobials to incorporate easily in PVC products, vinyl plastisols, polyolefins as well as PU applications. The grades are liquid products fully miscible in polyols and can be pre-mixed in the polyol-side of the polyurethane formulation.
