MIPELON™ is ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene in the form of fine powder. MIPELON™ can be successfully reduced to fine particles having an average particle size of 25 to 30 μm with our special polymerization technique, and retaining its high molecular weight.
Addition of MIPELON™ to various resins, rubber, greases, and coating materials results in improved self-lubrication, abrasion resistance and chemical resistance. Good dispersion property of MIPELON™ results in exceptional mechanical properties.
