Laser marking of transparent polymers requires nanoscale sized additives in order to retain the optical transparency. Irasorb BITO is the preferred solution for this challenging application with higher electrical conductivity and higher absorption in infrared light compared to the yellow version, which makes it useful for 3D printing powder, NIR absorbing plates and polymeric films.
