Crystex™ 60 OT 10

Crystex™ 60 OT 10 by Eastman is a non-blooming vulcanizing agent. It provides non-staining and non-discoloring properties. It retards bin scorch, prevents migration of sulfur and preserves surface tack. At vulcanization temperatures, it can de-polymerize to soluble sulfur and behaves similarly to "Rubber Maker's" sulfur. It is a metastable grade that can revert to soluble sulfur if not stored under proper conditions. It is used in compounds containing a relatively large sulfur loading above the ­solubility of sulfur in the elastomer. Crystex™ 60 OT 10 suitable for the manufacture of tires and other plied-up rubber goods.
