Dabco® SI3501

Dabco® SI3501 by Evonik acts as a silicone surfactant. It produces fine, uniform cells resulting in excellent ?-values. It has non hydrolysable structure for excellent premix stability and good compatibility with rigid foam polyol pre-blends. Exhibits excellent density distribution and foam flow properties. Offers low viscosity as well as freezing point allowing for easy handling and accurate pumping. In one component foam (OCF) applications, it can stabilize the foam structure and assist greatly in prepolymer compatibility. Used for polyether, polyester and polyether/polyester based rigid PUR and PUR/PIR formulations. Dabco® SI3501 is also used for continuous as well as discontinuous insulation panels (flexible and metal faced). Recommended use level ranges from 1.0 to 2.5 pphp.
