Vertex® 100SG

Vertex® 100SG by Huber Engineered Materials is a magnesium hydroxide (=99 % (untreated base)) grade. Acts as a flame retardant and smoke suppressant. Present as an odorless white powder. It is an alkylsilane treated magnesium hydroxide product that provides hydrophobicity and superior fire performance when used to make fire-rated polymeric compounds. The surface treatment promotes uniform dispersion of the magnesium hydroxide in the polymer used, providing desirable compounding rheology and enhanced compound performance. Suitable for thermoplastic, elastomeric and crosslinkable compounds. Vertex® 100SG by Huber Engineered Materials complies with Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) Inventory, Canada Domestic Substance List, Canada Non-Domestic Substance List and National Inventory of Chemical Substances (INSQ).
