BLS® 1622

BLS® 1622 by Mayzo is butanedioic acid, 1,4-dimethyl ester, polymer with 4-hydroxy-2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-1-piperidineethanol. Acts as a hindered amine light stabilizer. Shows excellent performance in pigmented systems, low volatility, compatibility with other stabilizers, FDA cleared, secondary effects of long-term heat stability. Compatible with polyethylene, polypropylene, unsaturated polyester, styrenics, acrylics and vinyl polymers, polyacetals, polyurethane, acrylics. BLS® 1622 is favorable for applications where low volatility and a low melting range are required. Recommended dosage is 0.1-1.5%, depending on the substrate, processing conditions, and performance requirements. It has a shelf life of one year.
