Niax™ Silicone L-5345 by Momentive Performance Materials is an organo-silicone surfactant which is an excellent candidate to consider for use in the manufacture or rigid and semi-rigid polyurethane (PUR) and polyisocyanurate (PIR) foams. Niax™ Silicone L-5345 is compatible and non-reactive with commercial isocyanates and isocyanate-based prepolymers used by the rigid foam industry.
