PREADD AB 177

Micronized calcium carbonate antiblock masterbatch with PE-LD as the carrier polymer.It is developed as an alternative to antiblock masterbatches containing natural silica. Its increased heat conductivity accelerates the cooling of the film. This can lead to increased capacity especially in cases where the natural cooling is insufficient. PREADD AB 177 improves the printability and lowers heat sealing time as well as temperature. For packaging of deep frozen products, shrinking time of shrink films can be shortened by using infrared radiation. It shows a good antiblock effect at addition level of 1-2 % and for shrinking at 4-10 %. Used in packaging of deep frozen products. PREADD AB 177 is approved for use in contact with foodstuffs according to FDA and BgVV regulations without limitations.
